Update: 7 p.m.

Power has been restored in West Kelowna after a problem with wires on a power pole.

According to Craig Musgrove on the Capital News Facebook page, power was restored around 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.

“A truck snagged a tension line holding up a pole. Then when he drove away it snapped against the pole. Couple explosions later and we were dark,” wrote Musgrove, who noted both his power and Shaw Internet were affected.
