Vernon’s popular outdoor skating rink has opened for the season with improvements.
With approved funding from the City of Vernon and a grant from the Canada 150 Community Infrastructure program, the Centennial Outdoor rink at the Vernon Recreation Centre saw a major refit.
It now has brand new boards and fencing, signage and updated dressing room areas. This has given the rink a professional yet fun look and will be sure to make the outdoor rink activities all the better for years to come.
