Tuesday’s wind storm continues to cause havoc across the North Okanagan.

B.C. Hydro is still reporting several power outages across the region Wednesday morning, including in Lumby, Coldstream, Vernon, Armstrong, Enderby, Spallumcheen, Lake Country and Westside Road.

In many cases, tree branches brought down power lines.

In Lumby and outlying areas a region-wide power outage hit the community for most of the afternoon and evening.

But the Lumby Fire Department had a generator running for a couple hours Tuesday evening for anyone needing to charge up critical equipment.

Also in Lumby, the Charles Bloom Secondary School’s grad drive through breakfast planned for Wednesday morning has been post-poned due to the power outage to Thursday morning. The event, which is the grad’s biggest fundraiser, takes place at Super A Foods from 5:30 to 8:30 a.m.
