The Central Okanagan School District has a new member.
Communications advisor Justin Schneider will be focusing on expanding the district’s brand and outreach.
“(My job is mostly) to showcase student achievement,” said Schneider.
Schneider worked in communications for the B.C. government in Victoria before coming back to his hometown in the Okanagan.
As a graduate of Rutland Senior Secondary in 1998, Schneider said the main reason for his move to Kelowna is his four-year-old son.
Schneider will also be running social media, writing news releases, and the district website.
“We’re looking forward to seeing what you’ll do with our website,” said board chairperson Moyra Baxter.
