Mountain altitudes and fine wines are coming together.
Mile High Wine and Music will be held at Silver Star Mountain Resort Aug. 12, with general admission tickets being released Monday.
“The outdoors, the big Okanagan sky, and an amazing village setting at Silver Star all lend themselves to an incredible venue for this event,” said Blair Baldwin,Okanagan Wine Festivals Society general manager.
“The Okanagan Wine Festivals Society and Silver Star have dreamed big to offer more than 500 guests the unique opportunity to taste B.C. wines and enjoy live music in the alpines under the Okanagan sun.”
More than 30 wineries from across the Okanagan Valley will showcase their wines.
“This will be a wine and food weekend to remember,” said Jesse Crockett, Silver Star Mountain Resort hospitality director.
