Suspects arrested in dial-a-dope case

Two people have been arrested in connection with a North Okanagan dial-a-dope drug trafficking group.

Vernon-North Okanagan RCMP completed an investigation into the group and announced the arrests Thursday.

The investigation led to the arrest of a 36-year-old man and 35-year-old woman for possessing drugs for the purpose of trafficking.

“Police seized quantities of cocaine, methamphetamine and heroin packaged for street-level sale along with other drug trafficking paraphernalia,” said Const. Jocelyn Noseworthy.

Both suspects were slated to appear in Vernon Provincial Court Friday. Their names are not being released at this time.
