It’s a bit later than usual but breakfast will soon be served up by a local organization.

The annual United Way Drive-Thru Breakfast will take place at the Vernon Lodge on Thursday, Oct. 5, from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. or when all 800 breakfast bags are gone.

“We have a few new items and a few new prizes this year,” said Linda Yule of United Way. “Lots of people have been asking when’s the breakfast as it is a bit later due to the 55+ BC Games which just wrapped up.”

United Way in Vernon launches their Fall Giving Campaign with the 16th Annual Drive-Thru Breakfast.

Drive, walk or ride through the parking lot of the Vernon Lodge and get a full bag of goodies valued at well over $20 plus a chance at some great prizes.

All funds raised stay local and support programs for kids, families, seniors and those with disabilities.
