Starting Friday, stage two water restrictions begin for North Westside residents.
Until Sept. 15, stage two water restrictions are in effect for customers of the Killiney Beach, Upper Fintry-Shalal Road-Valley of the Sun and Westshore water systems unless other restrictions are in place.
“Stage two means outdoor watering is restricted to two days each week,” said Bruce Smith, with the Regional District of Central Okanagan.
“RDCO water customers with even number addresses may irrigate outdoors on Saturday and Tuesday while those with odd addresses may only water outside on Sunday and Wednesday.”
Customers with an automated irrigation system may only water on their designated day between midnight and 6 a.m., while those with manual outdoor irrigation must restrict their watering to between 6 and 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. and midnight on their respective irrigation day.
