Adrian Thompson

October 24th, 1936 – January 14th, 2006

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Adrian Lester Thompson in Keremeos, BC. He leaves behind his loving wife, Vi, children Diana Bergsma, Jeff (Sheri Smith) Thompson, Susan (Tim) Weiss, Lorraine (Brian) Douglas, Kellie (John) Buis and numerous grand-children and great grand-children. He is also survived by his brothers, Wayne (Sylvia) Thompson, Keith (Sandy) Thompson, Uncle Herb (Diane) Thompson. He was pre-deceased by his parents, Harold and Myrtle and grandson Kyle. Adrian was born and raised in New Westminster. In 1974 he moved his family from White Rock to Vernon where he owned and operated a Midas Muffler business. In 1989 Adrian and Vi retired to 108 Mile Ranch. This was Adrian’s heaven on earth, and some of his fondest memories were there. In 2000 they moved to Keremeos. Adrian was a true outdoorsman with fishing being what he best loved to do. With his best pal Vi, by his side, they spent hours on numerous lakes in B.C. Adrian will be fondly remembered for his “Thompson” blue eyes, his huge heart, and his loyalty and love for his family and friends. The family wishes to thank the Doctors and Nurses at the Keremeos Diagnostic Center. A special thank you to Sheila Bouchard for her love and care. By request, there will be no memorial service. Donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
