Arnold George Prevost

Arnold George Prevost was born in the Kamloops Hospital March 17, 1948, a year to the day after the marriage of his parents Emile and Nellie. He spent his first years on the family farm on Duck Range before moving into Kamloops. In 1962 the Prevost family moved to their farm on Mabel Lake Road and as soon as he was old enough, Arnold started work in the Forestry Industry.

On November 23, 1967 Arnold married Cora and they had two children, Bobbi and Milan. From their first home on the “Hupel Flats”, they moved to their acreage on Inch Logan Road where they remained until the river and his best buddy Roger and wife Diane drew them back to Mabel Lake where he spent his last two years in his “heaven”.

As an avid ball player, golfer and curler, Arnold made friends where ever he was. His quiet, unassuming way, especially with children, leaves special memories in the hearts and minds of so many.

Arnold is survived by his wife Cora, daughter Bobbi (Wayne) Pineau, son Milan (Dala), nine grandchildren and three great grandsons. He leaves his eight siblings – Mary (John) Eichinger, Emily Beattie, Emil (Loretta), Edward (Linda), Eileen (Brian) Dack, Louise Dugdale, Jamie (Brenda) and Kelly (Cliff) Vetter as well as many nieces and nephews and his beloved “Oiler” family

There will be a family service celebrating Arnold’s life at a later date.
