Art Currie
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Arthur “Art” Terrance Currie at the age of 47 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was the beloved husband of Stacey Falconer of Vernon, BC where they resided. Art passed away peacefully on August 7, 2017 at North Okanagan Hospice House with Stacey by his side ‘til the end.
Art was born on December 22, 1969 in White Rock, BC. He moved to Westbank, BC with his parents at a young age where he spent the majority of his life before moving to Vernon to be with Stacey.
He was the son of Robert and Allana Currie, the loving father of Patrick, Zack, & Teaghan, and step-father of Taylor & Ashton Falconer. He also leaves behind sisters Tammy Plett (Tammy Mitchell), Kelly (Jim) Facchin, and Julie (Lanny) Paul.
Art also loved spending time with his many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
He was and always will be our Superman, and he will forever be in our hearts and missed dearly.
A memorial service will be held on Friday,
August 18, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Pleasant Valley Funeral Home located at 4303 Pleasant Valley Road, Vernon, BC.
