Barrie Mori

It is with great sadness that the Mori Family announces the sudden passing of Barrie, in Calgary, Alberta. He died doing what he loved best, biking with his beloved dog, Luci.

Barrie will be sadly missed by his loving parents, Yoshitaka and Mariye, his siblings; Setsuko, Richard (Judy), Jeanne (Bill), Hugh (Hiroko) and Terry (Janice), thirteen adoring nieces and nephews, two great nephews as well as a multitude of aunts, uncles

and cousins.

Barrie was a natural athlete and a “Mr. Fix It”. He was still playing hockey for two teams and his annual ski trips with the boys was always good for more “Barrie Stories”. His handyman skills adorn many homes in

B.C and Alberta.

His generosity knew no bounds and his special bond with all of his nieces and nephews was unparalleled.

We will miss him dearly, but are ever so grateful for the times we shared.

A Memorial Service will be held at the All Saint’s Anglican Church, 3205-27th Street, Vernon, B.C. on Saturday, January 28th, 2006 at 2pm.

In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in Barrie’s name to “The Heart and Stroke Foundation”, Vernon Unit #202-3402-27th Avenue, Vernon, B.C. V1T 1S1 or the charity of your choice.
