Bertha Danbrook
March 8, 1921 - October 20, 2017
The family of Bertha Danbrook sadly announces her passing on October 20, 2017. Bertha is now in the presence and loving arms of her Lord, Jesus Christ.
Bertha was born on March 8, 1921 to Bernard and Sarah Schierling in Langham, SK. Bertha was predeceased by her beloved husband, Ivan in May 2005.
She is survived by her three children, Grant (Barb) Danbrook, Joan (Bill) Wilson and Loren (Melanie) Danbrook, her grandchildren Jason, Kevin, Travis, Karilynn, Kalina, Sean, Jamie and Kayla, their spouses and her eight great-grandchildren.
Bertha has one remaining sibling, Esther who celebrated her 102nd birthday this past June.
Bertha married the love of her life, Ivan on November 2, 1946. They eventually settled in Enderby, raising their children and successfully dairy farming. Bertha took pride in her farming partnership with Ivan and her care and attention to her family. Her family and friends all agree that nobody made homemade buns as good as Bertha.
The family would like to thank and acknowledge Doug and Adele Carlaw for their continued friendship and support to both Ivan and Bertha.
Thank you, Adele for your devoted friendship to Mom. Thank you also to Aunt Betty, more than a sister-in-law but a sister.
Thank you to the staff at Heron Grove for being Mom's second family during these past two years.
