SASGES

Our beloved wife, mother and grandmother, Beverley Anne (Bev) Sasges was called Home suddenly into the arms of God on Wednesday, June 21st, 2006 at the Vernon Hospice House. Born November 5th, 1930 in Cranbrook, B.C., she was raised in the East Kootenay Valley, served in the Canadian Air Force and spent her married life in Revelstoke and Vernon. Devoted to her family and friends, she loved to laugh, sing, dance and entertain. She had been active in Business and the C.W.L. Her positive outlook on life carried her through all of life’s challenges. Bev will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her husband, Norm, to whom she was married for 52 years, her children; Barbara Anne (Kelly) Breaks of South Surrey, B.C., Ken (Sirpa) and Ian (Sherry) of Revelstoke, B.C. and Janet (Ron) Sipos of Kelowna, B.C., her beautiful grandchildren; Melanie and Eric, Blair and Kyle, her step-grandchildren; Eddie (Lisa), Nathan, Nancy and Christie, her step-great-grandchildren; Rogan and Ethan, her cherished sister, Valerie (Tom) Farrer of Vernon, B.C., her brothers; Barry Moore and Cameron (Edythe) Moore of Edgewater, B.C. and David Moore of Denver, Colorado. Bev’s memory will also be treasured by many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and wonderful friends. Prayers wil be recited at St. James Catholic Church on Monday, June 26th, 2006 at 7:00 P.M. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. James Catholic Church on Tuesday, June 27th, 2006 at 10:00 A.M. with Reverend Father Martin Peyton celebrant. Cremation will follow.
