In Loving Memory ~
Carl passed away peacefully at Belleville General Hospital, Belleville, ON, on 9 April 2024 in his 88th year.
Beloved husband of the late Shirley Barrett. Loving father to Neil (Michelle) of Sherwood Park, AB, Chris (deceased) and Rick (Janice) of Frankford, Ont.
Proud grandfather to Megan (Ben) and Melanie. Great-grandfather to Caleb.
Pre-deceased by his parents George and Edith May (nee Petit) of Gosport, Great Britain, brothers Dave (Betty), Mike (Mary) and sister Wendy.
Cpl Barrett served as a Transportation Technician in the RCAF. Presented with a lifetime membership, he was very proud of his achievements within the Royal Canadian Legion organization.
He spent the majority of his life in British Columbia and called Coldstream, BC home before moving to Ontario to be closer to family. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place.
