Carmen Louise Allen

Mrs. Carmen Louise Allen passed away at

Parkview Place, Enderby on Friday, November

21, 2008. Aged 68 years. Born in Carmengay,

Alberta, Carmen moved to Vancouver Island

in 1948 and grew up there. She met Dave in

Victoria and they were married in 1961. They

lived in Fort St. John from 1968 until 1991

when they moved to Enderby. Predeceased

by parents, sister Toots and brother-in-law

Lee Taplin, Carmen will be sadly missed and

lovingly remembered by husband David of

Enderby; daughter Cindy (Wayne) Cockwill

of Enderby; two sons Danny (Sara) of Fort

Nelson and Glen (Eva) of Fort St. John; seven

grandchildren; siblings Tuffy (Bernice) Orcutt

of Washington, Vane (Betty) Orcutt of Fort St.

John, Bob (Margo) Orcutt of Delta and Sybil

Swanson of Milk River, Ab; nieces, nephews,

extended family and friends. Carmen was a

devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She

enjoyed her friends, especially the local gang,

boating, gardening and cooking – deserts were

her favourite. A Celebration of Life will be held

12:00 noon, Saturday, November 29, 2008 at

the Allen home, 172 Enderby – Grinrod Road,

Enderby. Donations in memory of Carmen may

be made to Parkview Place. Arrangements
