Christine McIntosh McGrath

Christine McIntosh McGrath passed away peacefully at Parkview Place, Enderby, on Saturday, May 19, 2007. Aged 88 years. Christine was born in Saskatchewan on April 9, 1919 and moved to Armstrong in 1957. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by four sons and seven daughters – Alvin (Pat) of Kamloops, Donna (Reg) Newman of Candle Lake, Sk., Linda (Norman) Beaudin of Brandenton, Florida, Victor (Barb) Courtney, Victoria (Robert) Walker of Kelowna, Marlene (Bill) Redding of Armstrong, Max (Janise) of Port Hardy, Donalda (Doc) Taylor of Armstrong, Danny (Linda) of Nakusp, Maryanne (Tony) Litzenburger of Enderby and Bonnie (Pat) Skelly of Enderby; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; three sisters Gertie, Lizzie and Ray all in Sk. Predeceased by husband Archie Leonard McGrath in 1977, four brothers and five sisters. Christine had a great sense of humor and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed dancing, sewing, gardening and was a superb cook. A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 26, 2007, at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, with a tea to follow.
