Clara Marie Doiron

Clara Marie Doiron (nee Pagét) passed away peacefully at Hospice House in Vernon on January 5, 2006, at the age of 85 years. Born in Lebret, Saskatchewan, Clara was a longtime resident of B.C., where she and her late husband, Buster will be remembered for their talents in Arts and Crafts, especially in the Cherryville area. Clara was predeceased by her father, Rene Pagét in 1927; her mother Justine in 2000; her beloved husband Francis (Buster) in 1991; and her sister Cecile Brown of Toronto in 1999. She will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by sisters:: Alyse Thackeray of Westlake, Cal., and Catherine Wipf of Coquitlam, B.C.; brother Eddie and wife Joyce of Santa Clara, Utah; and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and extended family members. Prayers will be recited at St. James’ Roman Catholic Church in Vernon on Sunday, January 8, at 5:30 P.M., and a Funeral Mass will be celebrated there on Monday, January 9, at 10:00 A.M., with the Reverend Father Kenneth Anoruo, celebrant. Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, friends wishing to do so may make donations in memory of Clara to Vernon Hospice House, 3506-27th Ave., Vernon, V1T 1S4.
