DAVID BRISTOW

MR. DAVID THOMAS (DAVE) BRISTOW passed away suddenly on Wednesday, December 11th, 2002 at the age of 57 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Nan, to whom he was married for 34 years, his children; Todd (Shannon) Bristow and Tina (Aaron) Bristow-Goettel, his grandsons; Duncan and Stuart Bristow, all of Calgary, Alberta, his mother, Verna Bristow of Vernon, B.C., his brother, Dennis (Marianne) Bristow of Vernon, B.C., his sister, Pat Smith of Calgary, Alberta, his father-in-law, Don Harwood and his sister-in-law, Kath Harwood, both of Vernon, B.C. and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Charlie Bristow on February 14th, 1996 and his mother-in-law, Jess Harwood on March 3rd, 1999. Dave served with the RCMP from 1966-2001 in Colonsay, Elbow, Morse, Loon Lake, North Battleford, Ituna and Coronach, Saskatchewan and retired back to Vernon where he was born and raised. He loved the outdoors, was an avid gardener and was very active in various sports and community activities. Cremation preceded the Funeral Service which will be held at All Saints Anglican Church on Wednesday, December 18th, 2002 at 3:00 P.M. with Reverend Canon Chris Harwood-Jones officiating. Inurnment will follow in the All Saints Anglican Church Columbarium. As an expression of sympathy, those who wish to do so may send donations in memory of Dave Bristow to the B.C.
