Deborah Peebles

Deborah “Debbie” Peebles passed away peacefully, surrounded by family in Vernon, B.C. on June 28, 2006 at the age of 49 years. Debbie is survived by her loving family; husband Jack of 30 years, 2 daughters Erin (Andrew) Day, Leah Peebles, 1 son Jeff (Kali Yavis) all of Vernon, B.C. She is further survived by her parents Pat and Danny Schley of Vernon, “Ol” Grandmother Marjorie Christian of Summerland, B.C., sister Cindy (Denis) Brunelle of Vernon, B.C., brother Greg (Candy) Schley of Enderby, many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family members. She will also be missed by “Oakley” and many dear friends. Jack and Debbie moved to Vernon in 1975 where Debbie became employed with the Vernon Lodge, working from housekeeping through to General Management during a 30 year span. A Celebration of Debbie’s Life will be held at the Best Western Lodge, 3914 32nd St., Vernon, B.C. on Saturday, July 8th, 2006 from 2:00 to 5:00 P.M. In memory of Debbie, donations to Nona Treehouse Project or any local community charity would be gratefully appreciated.
