On July 8, 2017 Dona passed peacefully with her children by her side. Dona was predeceased by the love of her life Bert in 1989. Dona is survived by her five children: Judy Rumney (Len), Mark Scott, Cheryl Kimball (Daryl), Brian Scott (Abby) and Tally Acton (Dave). Dona also has 15 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
As a long-time resident of Armstrong, Dona expressed a great appreciation of the spirit of her community, church, neighbours, friends and caregivers.
The family will be hosting a tea & sweets open house on Friday, July 14 at 12:30 at 3314 Belair Drive in Armstrong, BC. Expressions of sympathy may be forwarded to the family at www.MyAlternatives.ca.
