Dorreen passed away peacefully in Kelowna General Hospital on March 17th, 2017.
She is survived by her three daughters: Llana (Barry) Teichroeb and their family: Emma (Mike) Dovell and great granddaughter, Emma; Kim Teichroeb (Brandon Kosik), and Cody Teichroeb (Megan Moffat); Bobbi Ell (Brian Barker) and their family: Jessica (Anthony) Libio, Kayt Ell, and Cole Ell; Shirlie Delacherois (Rob Hatt) and their daughter, Sam Delacherois. Dorreen will be remembered by her brothers: Wayne Bonsan, Gary (Darlene) Bonsan, Ray (Deb) Bonsan, and Don Bonsan. She was predeceased by her parents, Charlie Bonsan and Louise (Harry) Chamings, and by her husband, Ron Henderson.
The family extends special thanks to the doctors and nurses at Kelowna General Hospital who took such great care of Dorreen during her final days: Dr. Welsh, Dr. McCauley, Dr. Spiess, and a very special heartfelt thank you to Ashley Pearson, RN at the ICU.
The Celebration of Life will be held in the chapel of Pleasant Valley Funeral Home on Sunday, March 26th, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. A reception will follow in the tea room.
In lieu of flowers, those who wish to make contributions in memory of Dorreen may do so to the B.C. Lung Association or to the SPCA.
