Dr. David Andrew Koval, DVM, aged 52 years, passed away suddenly of a brain aneurism on Sunday, December

24, 2006. David is survived by his loving wife J.J. of Enderby; father Dr. Andy Koval and wife Helene; mother Jane Koval; brother Dr. Don Koval and sisters Dr. Anne Koval (Corrigan) and Susan Koval; numerous

loving family and friends across Canada and around the world. David started his university studies in Ontario and graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon. He started his veterinary career in private practice in the Calgary area, followed by a stint in the United Kingdom, and at the time of his death was with the Canadian Food Inspection Agency as Veterinarian in charge at Colonial Farms in Armstrong. David will be remembered for his sense of humour and joie de vive. He had a great love for animals, particularly his faithful dog, Joe. David’s favourite past time was riding horses in the Rockies. The family wishes to thank the staff of Enderby EMS, Salmon Arm and Kamloops hospitals for their compassion and caring. Special thanks to Ralph & Leonie Watson of Enderby for their kindness and support during this difficult time. As per David’s wishes, there will be no service.
