Edward (Ed) Weslowski

With heavy hearts, we announce the sudden passing of Ed Weslowski in Vernon, B.C. at the age of 71 years.

Ed is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Ione, his daughter; Karen (Craig), his son; Kevin (Jody), his cherished granddaughters; Cailee and Emma, his brothers; Joe and Tom (Kim), his nieces; LeeAnna, Tina and their families along with numerous extended family members and friends.

Ed was preceded in death by his parents; Joe and Anne and his sister in-law; Jo-Anne.

Those who knew Ed knew of his tireless work ethic. He worked as a lineman for BC Hydro for over 30 years and then "retired" to work for Fortis, Aerial Contractors, Henkels & Mccoy Pei and Advanced Powerlines.  When not working as a lineman, he spent countless hours in his garden and on many home improvement projects.  In recent years, Ed and Ione spent part of the winter in Mesa, Arizona enjoying the warm weather, golf and the company of good friends.

Ed will be greatly missed by his family and friends and remembered for many things, including his generosity as there was nothing he wouldn't do for the people in his life.

As an expression of sympathy, please consider donating to the S.P.C.A. or a charity of your choice.

Cremation preceded a Celebration of Ed's Life which will be held at Bethel Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, November 14th, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Dr. Teresa Charlton officiating.

A Reception will follow in the Bethel Tea Room.
