Elsie Tabak

Elsie Tabak

was born on October 20th, 1914 in Esk, Saskatchewan and passed away on April 27th, 2010 in the Vernon Jubilee Hospital at the age of 95 years. She was a child of God through faith in the death and resurrection of her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

Elsie was preceded in death by her husband Michael, after only ten years of marriage. She is survived by nieces, nephews and their families; and some very close friends, among them being Ruth Karr and Queenie Stoner. Elsie leaves a legacy of volunteering in many Vernon rest homes. She was a determined lady, living alone in her own home until just recently. Gardening brought her much joy and many others benefited from the results. Her other passion was the sharing of the good news of eternal salvation through Jesus Christ to all people groups around the world.

A Graveside Service will be held at Pleasant Valley Cemetery on Monday, May 3rd, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Erik Reimer officiating. Refreshments and a sharing time will follow at Faith Baptist Church, 3908-27th Street.

Our thanks to Dr. Perrier and to Kerry Heidebrecht.
