Elva Kelly/Buck

Elva Verna Kelly/Buck (nee Kent) born April 16, 1937 passed away peacefully at the young age of 69, after a short but hard fought battle with cancer. Mom was born and raised in Fort St. John, later moving to Lumby and then finally Prince George, where she and her husband would raise their six children and a handful

of others. Through her years, Mom taught

everyone who knew her that family is the greatest gift a person could ever have. She

is predeceased by her parents, Bill & Florence Kent, aunt Millie Ohland, and cousin (little brother) Vern Lock. She is survived by her husband (& soul-mate) Boyd Buck and

children, Kim (Don) Kelly, Shaun Kelly, Dennis (Vicki) Kelly, Derrick (Melissa) Buck, Janelle (Chris) Robertson, Donelda (Ron) Buck,

grandchildren Melcolm, Morgan, Dianna,

Kyle, Todd, Riley, and Shailyn, great-grandchildren Jullian & Emily, as well as her puppy “Wiggles”, and her sisters Joyce (Cecil) Kohuch and Carol Burrill. She also leaves behind more nieces, nephews and ‘spare kids’ than you could shake a stick at.
