Enderby resident, Emil Charles Prevost passed away at Shuswap Lake General Hospital, Salmon Arm, on Saturday, March 20, 2004. Aged seventy-eight years. Emil will be lovingly remembered by children and grandchildren Arnold (Cora) Prevost – Bobbi (Wayne) Pineau and Milan Prevost; Mary (John) Eichinger – Sherri (Greg) Halvorson and John Eichinger; Emily Beattie – Dan (Sandy) Beattie and Carl Beattie; Emil (Loretta) Prevost – Jennifer; Edward (Linda) Prevost – Adam and Dan Prevost; Eileen (Brian) Dack – James Dack and Lynn (Cam) Hayward; Louise Dugdale – Steven and Rick Dugdale; Jamie (Brenda) Prevost – Tonya (Grant) MacLeod; Kelly (Cliff) Vetter – Dustin, Ashley, Stefanie and Josh Vetter; seventeen great-grandchildren; sister Felecine Haines of Gabriola Island; extended family and many friends. Predeceased by wife Nellie in 1998, sister June Prevost and brother Cyrus Prevost. Emil was born at Cold Lake, Alberta. He served overseas with the Armed Forces from 1944 to 1945. Emil had lived in Enderby since 1962, he was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, enjoyed his grandchildren, the outdoors and farming. A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 25, 2004, at St. Andrew’s United Church, Enderby. Reverend Ken Jones officiating. Interment in family plot of Cliffside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Emil’s memory for the purchase of medical equipment to assist local people in need may be made c/o Enderby and District Credit Union.
