EMIL SCHOEPFNER

Mr. Emil Schoepfner Jr. was born on December 15th, 1931 in Wattenscheid, Germany and passed away on April 18th, 2007 at his home in Vernon, B.C. with his family by his side. He will be fondly remembered by his loving companion of seventeen years, Regina Schamal; his children, Wolf (Deborah) Schoepfner, Ruth (Richard) Perritt, Heidi (Ron) Deleurme, Werner (Patrice) Schoepfner and Tamara (Dieter) Burmeister; his grandchildren, Jeremy, Steven, Kristal, Jesse, Chad, Anneliese, Daniel, Jillian, Sascha and Ila; four great-grandchildren; his father, Emil; his brothers, Ralf and Hans; his aunt, Hilda Denome; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his wife, Anneliese and his mother, Else. Emil loved the simple things in life, had a sense of humour, was very kind and had a generous heart. He enjoyed the outdoors and loved hunting, fishing, camping, going on trips and spending time landscaping and pruning trees. Emil played the accordion, enjoyed singing, music and dancing. He will always be remembered as a man who was very devoted to his companion and his family. A Graveside Service will take place at the Kelowna Memorial Park Cemetery on Wednesday, April 25th, 2007 at 10:30 A.M. with a Celebration Of Emil’s Life which will follow at Bethel Funeral Chapel at 2:00 P.M. with Mr. Brian Jackson officiating. A Reception will follow in the Tea Room at Bethel Funeral Chapel.
