Erich Alfred Klingspohn
February 25, 1934 - October 2, 2017
It is with heartfelt sadness we announce the passing of Erich Alfred Klingspohn on October 2, 2017 in Vernon, BC.
Erich was an avid outdoorsman, he loved fishing, hiking, hunting and camping. During the cold seasons, Erich would venture off to Arizona to escape the cold.
He is survived by his loving wife Olga, to whom he was married for 36 years, daughters Bettina Klingspohn, Angelika (Ken) Romanda, step-son Mark (Ruth) Schultz, sisters Erika (Paul) Schuller, Edith Seichter, sister-in-law Barbara Klingspohn, grandsons David (Atsuko), Derek (Brianne), Nick, granddaughter Amanda, great-grandchildren Maci and Brycen.
Erich is predeceased by his brother Theodor Klingspohn.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to do so may make a memorial donation in Erich's memory to the North Okanagan Hospice Society (3506 27th Avenue, Vernon, BC V1T 1S4).
There will be Memorial Service held at 2:00 pm on Friday, October 6th in the chapel of Alternatives Funeral & Cremation Services (4417 29th Street, Vernon, BC).
