FLEURETTE (FLO) FINN-NEWMAN

MRS. FLEURETTE (FLO) FINN-NEWMAN was born on March 5th, 1925 in Greenshields, Alberta and passed away peacefully in the Vernon Jubilee Hospital on Thursday, March 6th, 2003 at the age of 78 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Al, two sisters; Beatrice Bonsan of Vernon, B.C. and Terry (Jules) Bodner of Vancouver, B.C., one brother; George (Benita) Leduc of Kamloops, B.C., numerous nieces, nephews and Al’s family. She was predeceased by her first husband, Morris Finn, two sisters; Pauline Schultz and Helen Cox and two brothers; Fernand Leduc and Paul Leduc. Flo was a very gentle, loving lady who always looked for ways to help others. She made many friends in the community and will always be remembered for her many unselfish acts of kindness to everyone she came in contact with. She was also an avid quilter and gardener. The Funeral Service will be held at Bethel Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, March 11th, 2003 at 11:00 A.M. with Reverend Allan Dawe officiating. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, those who wish to do so may send donations in memory of Flo to the Vernon & District Hospice Society, 3506-27th Avenue, Vernon, B.C. V1T 1S4. Special thanks are extended to Dr. Fred Dyck and the wonderful nurses and staff on 3 East in the Vernon Jubilee Hospital who so lovingly took care of Flo.
