Francis (Frank) Britton

On Tuesday, October 17th, 2006 we, the

family of Francis (Frank) Britton, said our final farewell to him when he passed away in the Vernon Jubilee Hospital at the age of 85 years. Frank will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Elsie, to whom he was married for 61 years, his son and daughter-in-law, Chris & Barbara, his grandson, Kyle, his brother, Herbert of Headingley, Manitoba, his sisters-in-law; Pat, Millie, Myrtle and Lil, numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends. Frank’s passions in life were making and playing violins, curling and golfing. He served overseas as a Lance Corporal in the Canadian Armed Forces from 1943-1946. Cremation preceded a Celebration Of Frank’s Life which will be held at Bethel Funeral Chapel on Monday, October 23rd, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. with The Reverend Chris Harwood-Jones officiating. A Reception will follow in the Tea Room at Bethel Funeral Chapel. At the conclusion of the Reception, Frank’s cremated remains will be placed in the All Saints Anglican Church Columbarium. As an expression of sympathy, those who wish to do so may send donations in memory of Frank to the Vernon Jubilee Hospital Endowment Foundation, 2101-32nd Street, Vernon, B.C. V1T 9Z9. We wish to thank all the nurses in the Vernon Jubilee Hospital for their loving care as well as Dr. Cunningham and the staff at Anjou Place for their care and support.
