FRANK ARTHUR ADVENT was born April 3, 1925 at Woodridge, Manitoba. He passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2005 at Vernon Jubilee Hospital. Frank was predeceased by six brothers and one sister. He will be sadly missed by step-sisters, in-laws, and numerous step-children, cousins, nieces and nephews as well as many coffee and prospecting buddies. Frank was a man of many ambitions: part-time farmer, logger, truck driver, building manager, real estate salesman, hairsalon manager, part-time orchardist and former packing house worker and Howard House worker. Frank’s hobbies included prospecting and mining as well as being an avid card-player and lover of old automobiles. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, February 13, at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Pleasant Valley Funeral Home with Mr.. Brian Jackson officiating. Frank’s ashes will be laid to rest beside his sister in Thunder bay, Ontario. In lieu of flowers, friends wishing to do so may make donations in memory of Frank to the “Comfort Fund” of Baerg-McMurtry Cancer Clinic, 2101-32 St., V1T 5L2.
