MR. FRANK DAVID WRIGHT was born on August 19th, 1918 in Halifax, Nova Scotia and passed away suddenly at home in Vernon, B.C. on January 28th, 2004 at the age of 85 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his family and friends. Frank was raised in Halifax and served with the Canadian Provost Corps overseas from 1940-1946. After the war he began his employment with the Department Of Citizenship And Immigration, continuing with the Department until his retirement in 1980. Frank was very active as a volunteer for the Vernon Resthomes and initiated the “Pet Visitation Program” while working with the SPCA. He served many years in different capacities on the “Quality Of Life Society” Executive Committee and was a Life Member of the Royal Canadian Legion. Cremation preceded the Celebration Of Life Service which will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Hall on Thursday, February 5th, 2004 at 1:00 P.M. with Padre Arthur Gans officiating. As an expression of sympathy, those who wish to do so may send donations in memory of Frank to the Quality Of Life Society or the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #25.
