Frederick (Bunny) Derry

Mr. Frederick Arnold (Bunny) Derry was born in Vernon, B.C. on April 2nd, 1934 and passed away in the Vernon Jubilee Hospital on Thursday, November 16th, 2006 at the age of 72 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Sharon, to whom he was married for 43 years, his daughter, Barb and her husband, Kym Roberts of Calgary, Alberta, his son, Rick Derry of Maple Ridge, B.C., five grand-

children: Kevin, Matthew, Nicole, Stephanie and Jesse, two sisters: Fay Savoy of Vernon, B.C. and Maida (Cyril) Hopkins of Lumby, B.C., one brother: Bob (Margaret) Derry of Lumby, B.C., his special son, Mark Potyrala of Prince Rupert, B.C., his special daughter, Brenda Hintz of Abbotsford, B.C., numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. He was predeceased by his parents Mary and Sam Derry, and brothers, Nova and Larry (Parky). Bunny was born in Vernon and lived all his life in the Lumby and Vernon areas. He worked in the logging industry from the time he was 18 years old until he retired. His passions in life included fishing, hunting, curling and golfing. In his later years his love was being with his family at the cabin at Mabel Lake. We will miss you “Poppi”. A Celebration Of Bunny’s Life will be held at the Army, Navy & Airforce Hall, 2500-46th Avenue on Monday, November 20th, 2006 at 1:00 P.M.
