GAIL LEE JOHNSON

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Gail Lee Johnson (nee McKoryk) on March 13th, 2004 at the age of 52 years. Gail was predeceased by her father, Mike in 1999. She will be lovingly remembered by a daughter Nicole (Todd) Montgomery, mother Ann, sisters Bev (Stephen) Taylor, Linda McKoryk, and brother Gary McKoryk. She will also be remembered by a dear friend Garth Maguire and many other friends and family. Gail was born and raised in Vernon and worked various jobs, but would be most recognized for her work at the Royal Bank. Her last four years were spent in Red Deer, AB where she made several caring friends, enjoyed many walks, and took great pride in her newfound career as a Rehabilitation aide. Many people knew her for her flowing red hair and were touched by her sense of humour, smiling face, and active involvement in life. God has you in his keeping, we have you in our hearts. A private family service was previously held. A tea will be held in celebration of Gail’s life on Friday, April 2nd, 2004 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at the Christadelphian Hall, 2200 40th St. and Okanagan Ave., Vernon. In Gail’s memory, donations may be made to The Canadian Mental Health Association, 3100 28th Ave., Vernon, BC V1T 1W3, or to a Charity of your choice. If unable to attend, we ask you to celebrate her memory in your own fashion; say a prayer, take a walk, write a poem and know that she is with us always.
