Grace Wilkins (nee Meadows)

Grace Wilkins (nee Meadows) passed away peacefully January 8th 2006 at Polson Long-Term Care Facility, Vernon, B.C. Born in Bowsman, Manitoba, she was a long time resident of B.C., living in Pr. Rupert, Pr. George, Falkland and Vernon. She will be sadly missed by her children Gerri (Garry) Hamilton, Vernon, B.C., Barry (Edith) Wilkins, Pr. George, B.C., Russell (Pat), Pr George, B.C., Lori (Gerry) Christenson, Red Deer, Alta. and Wade (Dale), Pr. Rupert, B.C. 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild, sister Florence (Tom) Makepeace, Vernon, B.C., brothers Frank (Tink) and (Jean) Meadows, Windermere, B.C., Earl (Cindy) Meadows, White Rock, B.C. as well as several nieces and nephews and many friends. She was predeceased by husband Raymond Porter WIlkins in 1969 and friend and partner Wilf Osborne in 1992. A family gathering will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements in care of Plesant Valley Funeral Home. Internment will follow in Pr. George, B.C. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Arthritic Society or to the Vernon Jubilee Endowment Foundation 2101-32nd St., Vernon, B.C. V1T 5L2.
