Mr. (Greg) Herbert Gregory Inness was called Home to be with his Lord on Tuesday, April 3rd, 2007 at the age of 67 years, after a long and courageous battle with MS. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Connie, to whom he was married for 48 years, two daughters, Lesley (Steve) Plant of Calgary, Alberta and Kerry Inness of Victoria, B.C., one grandson, Evan Plant; his brother, Keith (Eleanor) Inness of Cranbrook, B.C.; his sister-in-law, Sally Inness of Trail, B.C., one nephew and two nieces; Jesse, Kimberley and Sarah; his step-mother, Julia Inness of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan; his step-brother, Arvid (Cindy) Kuhnle of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan; his step-sister, Mary (Terry) Hahn of Carter’s Cove, Newfoundland; several step-nieces and step-nephews; Connie’s sisters, Sylvia (Stan) Mazur of Kelowna, B.C., their daughter, Trudy (Mitch) McDonald of Missouri, U.S.A. and their son, Jerry (Shelley) Mazur of Kelowna, B.C.; and Karen (Ray) Nagel of Calgary, Alberta and their son, Ryan Nagel of Edmonton, Alberta; Connie’s brother, Bill (Marie George) Callaghan and his son, Shane Callaghan of Vancouver, B.C. and many extended family members. Greg was predeceased by his parents, Gordon & Marion Inness, two brothers, Graeme and Don Inness and one step-sister, Tracy Kuhnle. Greg spent 25 years in the Canadian Armed Forces and after his retirement he joined Procor Sulphur Services, then two years later he became the Material Control Supervisor at Atco Gas in Calgary, Alberta where he worked until his retirement in 1990 due to illness. He was an avid golfer and a great sportsman for which he won many awards through the years. A Celebration Of Greg’s Life will be held at Bethel Funeral Chapel on Saturday, April 7th, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Doug Barker officiating. Cremation will follow.
