Gwen passed away in the Vernon Jubilee Hospital on July 28th, 2017. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Thomas; one daughter, Nicky; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Lee.
Gwen was a very gifted woman whose artistic abilities were extraordinary and were evidenced in the beautiful paintings she created. She was a great lover of animals and nature. Gwen was a carrier for various newspapers over many years, the longest being for The Vernon Morning Star.
Cremation preceded a private Celebration Of Gwen’s Life which took place this past week. As an expression of sympathy, those who wish to do so may send donations in memory of Gwen to the SPCA, 4800 Haney Road, Vernon, B.C. V1H 1P6.
