Harald Raimond Oluper

It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of Harald Raimond Oluper on the eve of Sept.15, 2009.

He passed peacefully at the Vernon Jubilee Hospital where his kind heart finally stopped beating.

Born in 1925 in Estonia he immigrated to Canada in 1951.

During his life he served in the Allied Forces on the European front during World War II. He moved to Canada to start and raise a family in Toronto and Brantford Ontario.

After 35 years of welding it led to retirement in Vernon, BC . He enjoyed the cottage on the lake, fishing, and visiting with family and friends always living life to the best.

Harald is survived and will be missed by his daughters Lille McCann of Vernon, Marieanne (Ken) McCullough of Grovedale AB, son Roland Oluper of Sherwood Park, AB and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A celebration of his life was held at the Army Navy Club on Saturday September 19, 2009
