HAROLD ARCHIBALD SOMERSET, died in Vernon Jubilee Hospital March 1, 2003. Born, Armstrong, May 28, 1914, he is survived by his loving wife of 58 years Ruberta (Ruby) Grace Kaiser, formerly of Whitelaw, Alberta. Harold was the middle of seven children born to Archibald and Lucy Plumtree Somerset. Predeceased by his brother James and sister Ada Broadbent. Survived by sisters: Muriel Metcalf, Winfield, Helen McLaughlan, Peachland, and brothers John Somerset, Calgary, AB, & Gilbert Somerset, Richmond, B.C., sister-in-law, Mary Kaiser, Fairview, AB and many nieces and nephews. Longtime resident of Oyama, B.C. Harold had a gentleness in his manner of talking, a sense of deep appreciation for animals, and beauty wherever he found it.
