Helen Rose Szeliga

Helen Rose Szeliga passed away at Vernon Jubilee Hospital on March 19, 2007 after a lengthy illness, at the age of 66 years, a resident of Armstrong for the past 15 years. Helen was born at Ashcroft, BC, on August 11, 1940. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband Stanley, her son Allen (Patricia) and grandson John, of Vernon. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters, Louis (Randy) Blankinship, Armstrong, Barbara (Don) Wobick, Winfield, Earl (Jeannie), Clinton, Shirley Spencor (Walter), Violet Lowry (Jim), Horsefly, Les (Kathryn) Blain, Salmon Arm, Bernice Walken, Chilliwack, Stan (Jessie) Blain, Agassiz, Wilfred (Lydia) Blain, Salmon Arm, extended family and many friends. Helen was predeceased in infancy by a brother and sister, Joseph and Jeannie and later by a brother and 2 sisters, Norman, Evelyn and Hazel. Helen was devoted to her family and her home and liked to garden. Memorial Mass will be held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, on Saturday, March 24, 2007 at 10:00 am. Reverend Father Leo Boyd O.M.I. celebrant. Cremation. Arrangements are in the care of Personal Alternative Funeral Services, Armstrong, BC 546-7237
