HENDRIKA JACKSON passed away peacefully Sunday, January 30, 2005, at Pleasant Valley Manor, Armstrong. Aged 80 years. Rika will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by children Stephen (Shirley) of Westerose, Alberta, Edna (Rick) Walsh of Kelowna, Judith Kalinczuk of Salmon Arm, Donna (Alan) MacLeod of Revelstoke and Brian (Donna) of Onoway, Alberta; grandchildren Wendy, Wanda, Sandy, Kevin, Shauna, Jennifer, Dustin, Jodi, Janice, John Mike, Jaylyn, Melissa and Shawn; great-grandchildren Kendra, Olivia, Abigail, Hannah, Nathan and Steven; sister Jean (Albert) Pluim of Leduc, Alberta; extended family and friends. Predeceased by husband Douglas in 1987, parents John and Henrietta, sister Jessie and brother Albert. She has lived in Armstrong since 1966 and was active in the community with the Anglican Church, Rebekah’s and Red Cross. Rika enjoyed Tai Chi, playing cards and spending time with family and friends. A tea in memory of Rika Jackson will be held 3:00 p.m., Saturday, February 5, 2005, at the Odd Fellows Hall. Reverend Cory Rundell officiating.
