He leaves behind his sons, John (Donna) and Bob (Millie), his grandchildren, Teresa, Jennifer, Trevor and Jordan and his great-grandson, Oliver.
Herb spent most of his working career in the Government Agents Office of the BC Government. His career took him from Prince George to Vancouver and finally retiring in Penticton. Later he and his wife, Mary, moved to Vernon. Wherever they lived, they always formed lasting friendships. After retiring, Herb became an active member of the lawn bowling clubs in both Penticton and Vernon and he always enjoyed a good game of cards.
Herb was a loving husband and an inspirational father. He had a quick wit and great sense of humour and was always able to make people laugh. He will be sadly missed by all his friends and especially by his loving family.
