Irvin (Irv) KILBACK

Mr. Irvin (Irv) Kilback passed away in the Vernon Jubilee Hospital on Saturday, August 18th, 2007 at the age of 74 years after twelve years of battling heart related problems. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Elouise, to whom he was married for 23 years; his daughter, Brenda Laurenson of Vancouver, B.C.; his sons, Brent and Miles, both of Vernon, B.C.; his stepdaughter, Deb (Jim) Antonick and stepson, Wade Robbins, both of Calgary, Alberta; his granddaughters, Leena Kilback of Yarmouth, Nova Scotia and Jasmine Antonick of Calgary, Alberta; his sisters, Kathleen Eberman and Gladys (Robert McElroy) Poole of Vernon, B.C., Dianne (Art) Klippenstein of Wolseley Saskatchewan; his brother, Gordon Kilback of Regina, Saskatchewan; his sister-in-law, Fran Wallace of Heward, Saskatchewan, numerous nieces, nephews and special friends. He was predeceased by his dear son, Bart; his parents, George and Christina Kilback; his brothers, Otto, Bert, Ernie, Dennis and Kelly and his sisters, Shirley and Esther. Irv was born in Vanguard, Saskatchewan on August 10th, 1933 and moved to B.C. in 1968. He worked at Hoover Sawmills, Vernon Machine, A-1 Machine and later as a Park Ranger at Mabel Lake and Kal Lake Provincial Parks. He also worked for several years on the door at the Royal Canadian Legion. He was a long time member of the Fraternal Order Of Eagles and the Oddfellows. He leaves a void in the hearts of all of us that knew him well. Cremation preceded a Celebration Of Irv’s Life which will be held at the Eagles Hall, 5101-25th Avenue, on Friday, August 24th, 2007 at 11:00 A.M.
