James Fred (Jim) Wells was born on October 15th, 1939 in Chilliwack, B.C. and was called Home to be with his Lord on July 19th, 2017 at the age of 77 years.
Jim will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Orpha, to whom he was married for 59 years; one daughter, Judy (Douglas); one son, Brad (Coreen); four grandchildren, Michelle, Kory, Kirsty and Haley; four great-grandchildren, Braiden, Kaleb, Nevaeh and Kaiden; his mother, Grace; two sisters, Edna (Jim) and Glenda; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. He was preceded in death by his father, Roy.
Cremation preceded a Celebration Of Jim’s Life which will be held at Bethel Funeral Chapel on Friday, July 28th, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Ted Horton officiating. A Reception will follow in the Bethel Tea Room.

We, Jim’s family want to take this opportunity to extend our heartfelt thanks to Dr. Larrie Mandreck for the wonderful care that you provided Jim over the past many years that he was a patient of yours. During the last days of Jim’s life, both he and we, his family, were so grateful for the tender, loving care he received from the caregivers in the North Okanagan Hospice. Thank you all so much for helping us through the time of Jim’s illness and home-going.
