Jock McArthur born October 1, 1961 in Salmon Arm, BC passed away peacefully on June 18, 2017 in Vernon, BC surrounded by family. Jock was a family man. He was most proud of his three daughters and grandson. He loved the people in his life and would do anything for them. True to his Scottish heritage Jock was hard working and had a great sense of humour. He had the privilege of travelling Scotland and Europe with his wife this past summer, a memory that will be kept close. Jock was a man of many accomplishments including Kin Club president, 4-H leader, life insurance salesman, truck driver, motorbike enthusiast, farmer, forestry engineer, herdsman, worldwide cattle showman, sports department supervisor, and school board trustee. Jock left his mark in many areas of his community. A Truly remarkable man that will be missed by family, friends, and all that knew him. Jock is survived by his loving wife of 30 years Kim, daughters Mikayla (Corey), Tegan (son-in-law Andrew), Morgan (grandson Bryden), sisters Donna (Jim), Monica, and nieces, brothers-in-law Todd (Lorie), Tyler (Sarah & nephews), Chad (Allyson & nieces), father-in-law Ron Wagner and many close friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Armstrong Curling Club Monday June 26th at 2pm.
