was born on June 3rd, 1971 in Vancouver, B.C. and at the young age of 36 years, passed away on Sunday, November 11th, 2007 at her residence, with her loving family by her side. She fought a 6 1/2 year battle with breast cancer and all through that time she was a real “tough cookie” – right to the very end. Jules will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Rob; her “chosen kids” – Joey, Gizmo and Stanley; her parents, Donna (Bob) of New Westminster, B.C. and Bert (Linda) of Kelowna, B.C.; her brothers, Danny of Surrey, B.C. and Paul (Carrie) of Kelowna, B.C.; her step-brother, Christopher (Jennifer) of Grande Prairie, Alberta; her step-sister, Jennifer (Aaron) of Surrey, B.C.; her maternal grandparents, Leonard Ingram of Armstrong, B.C. and Marion Ingram of Surrey, B.C.; her paternal grandmother, Maria Melo of Vancouver, B.C.; her niece, Arienne and her nephew, Bradley, both of Port Coquitlam, B.C.; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; her mother and father-in-law, Suzanne and George McKay and her sister-in-law, Nadene (Rick) all of Mission, B.C. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Manuel Melo. We, your family, will always love you Jules and cherish your memory forever. Cremation preceded the Funeral Mass which will be celebrated at Our Lady Of The Valley Catholic Church, 10102 Middleton Drive, Coldstream, B.C., on Saturday, November 24th, 2007 at 1:30 P.M. with Reverend Father Martin Peyton celebrant. A Reception will follow at the Church. As an expression of sympathy, those who wish to do so may send floral tributes to the family or make donations in memory of Jules to the Drs.
