Kenneth Keith Ross Collins

Kenneth Keith Ross Collins

1972- 2009

Ken passed away suddenly on Wednesday March 4,

2009 doing the job he loved so much. He had finally

found his passion.

He is survived by his loving Wife, Tiffany and

Daughters, Lizzy and Aleesha, his mother Vivian

Lutz, his Inlaws, Margaret and Alan Mills, Brothers,

Ned Murphy and Family, Jeff Murphy and Family,

Roger Collins and Family, Sisters, Bev Vernon-Wood

and Family, Linda Cradlemire and Family, Brother

in Law, David Mills and lifelong friend Mike Yuil, as

well as many other extended family members and

friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Ken was born in Salmon Arm B.C. on December

26, 1972 to his parents, Vivian Lutz and Ross

Collins. He enjoyed many sunny days on the shores

of Shuswap Lake or floating down the Enderby River.

He was an avid reader and enjoyed the great outdoors

and all that it had to offer.

He was a great dad and husband who did whatever

he could to make his “girls” happy. He longed to

win the lottery so that he could take them to faraway

places and shower them with gifts.

Ken will always be remembered for his gentle nature,

friendly smile and a bottle of Coca Cola in his hand.

“No, the journey does not end here. Death is just

another path, one that we all must take. The grey

rain –curtain of this world rolls back and all turns to

silver glass, and then you see it…White shores, and

beyond, a far green country under a swift sunrise.”

–Gandalf the White

A Memorial in honour of Ken will take place on

Saturday March 14, 2009 at 1pm at the

Everyone is welcome.

We will continue to celebrate

your life, Ken!
