Ken passed away peacefully in his sleep on the morning of May 14, 2017.
Ken was the seventh of nine children born to Hugh and Yvonne Cox of Lumby, BC. Ken was predeceased by his parents, his sisters Evelyn (Sis), Gladys and Hazel, and his brothers Walter and Bill.
Ken will be lovingly remembered by his sister Doreen (Jerry Thauvette), and brothers Harold and Ron.
He will also be remembered by his six children and their families: Richard (Wendy), grand-children: Jason, Reagan, Abby, Josh (Michelle), & Danielle; Norm (Arlene), grandchildren: Eric, and Jarrett (Brittney & Sadie); Pat (Sheila); Dennis (Barb); Ken (Corinne), grandchild: Gabrielle; Penny (Jay Dance) grandchildren: Misty (Marco & Pheonix), and Jessi (Andrew & Nicholas); and the mother of his children, Peggy (Frank Pelle).
He will further be remembered by his extended family and friends too numerous to mention.
Ken met people from all over the world during his 17 years as a mechanic for the Armed Forces which included time with the UN Peace Keepers.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date to be announced. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully request donations be made to the charity of your choice.
