Larry J. Smith, age 64, passed away peacefully on August 20th, 2017. He was born on December 20th, 1952 in Penticton, BC to Malcolm and Burnetta Smith. Larry is lovingly remembered by his wife Sue, his children Mike and Lindsey, his brother Noel, and sister Debbie. Larry will be remembered for his incredible work ethic, attention to detail, and love for light bulbs. Larry always worked hard but he also enjoyed his time off, camping, fishing, and snowmobiling with friends. A memorial service for Larry will be held on Thursday August 24th at 2:00pm at Emmanuel Baptist Church (3412 15th Avenue, Vernon BC). The family would like to thank doctors Humphreys and Rankin, Kim and the chemo nurses of the Oncology department at Vernon Jubilee Hospital. Thanks to their amazing work and dedication Larry had an extra three years with his family and friends.
